Patient Billing

For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit, Cash, e-transfers and cheques. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.

We make every effort to have your treatment predetermined with your insurance company and estimate the balance you may be responsible for. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated. In some circumstances, we may be able make arrangements for a payment plan but this must be done prior to the actual procedure.

Insurance Information

At Halifax Endodontics we make every effort to provide you with the finest care and the most convenient financial options. To accomplish this we work hand-in-hand with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures. As a courtesy to our patients, we do currently accept assignment of benefits from most major insurance carriers.  It is important to note however, your insurance policy is your own.  It is the responsibility of the policy holder to be aware that your coverage may have certain limitations. Also, some circumstances (i.e.. emergencies) may not allow time to process a pre-determination.  

It is important to understand that specialty endodontic fees are somewhat higher than most dental insurance coverage limits.  This means there is often a portion of your endodontic treatment not covered by your dental insurance. Any remaining fees will be due at the time of treatment.
